Online Distance Education Programs
Now you also can be guided by Kathy Keats, an international calibre coach and world champion, whether you are new to agility or an experienced competitor.
Developing the talents in you and your dog requires practical, easy to understand lessons that build progressively on previously learned skills. The Agility Coach programs are based on the same type of training progressions developed by Olympic and professional coaches for their teams. The Agility Coach guides you through the overwhelming number of skills required to become a consistent performer.
National team development programs foster elite athletes through development of solid fundamentals, and build on that foundation over time, adding increasingly complex skills as the athlete is ready for them.
The Online Distance Education Programs are extremely popular with agility competitors who have access to training space but are struggling to come up with a focused plan or are looking to supplement their current training. The programs vary in length from 8 to 16 lessons. The program is self-paced so you move on to the next lesson when you feel prepared. On average it takes 1 to 2 weeks per lesson. These programs include goal setting, homework, troubleshooting, challenge activities, accountability and a forum for discussing training with peers and top agility competitors.
There are currently five modules available:
Master Blaster 2 – World class agility! This program an 8-week intensive program based on challenges found in the 2009 FCI World Championships. This program not only has skills that build on the original Master Blaster program, it has a clean new look and feel! Prerequisite: Master Blaster 1 recommended for handlers new to Masters level.
